I have a bitter sweet love affair with mobile phones. In my adult life, I do not believe I have made it through a carrier's 1 or 2 year agreement without breaking the contract or just purchasing a new phone off of eBay.
I finally bit the bullet, drank the kool-aid and switched to AT&T (didn't have a choice...boo!) and bought an iPhone 3GS. With an iPhone comes an uncontrolled desire to protect your investment since an insurance plan is not offered (not that I would buy one anyway).
The case for the iPhone came easy. The screen protector...not so much. I started out purchasing cheaper 3-to-a-pack screen protectors through the AT&T store and Wal-Mart. The fact that they come 3-to-a-pack is not so you can cover 3 iPhones...it is so you have 3 chances of actually getting it on there without bubbles or some other sort of undesired effect. I believe I tried 3 (packs...not screen protectors) before I got fed up and (with the advice from a friend) went to the Apple store and purchased
Power Support's Crystal Film for the iPhone.

My first shot was perfect! Kudos to this company for a quality product. Keep in mind that the screen protectors for the 1st gen iPhone are different than those for the iPhone 3G/3GS. Also, what is interesting is they have two types: Anti-Glare Film and Crystal Film. I decided to go with the Crystal Film.
